School Notices:
Kindergarten Registration is TODAY and THURSDAY! If you have a child born between 10/1/2014 and 10/1/2015, please go online to register them. Then you can complete the process this afternoon OR Thursday, between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. in the Ridge Office. All directions and information are on the district website. Author Visit Grades K-2 : Author of the popular "Who Would Win" series, Jerry Pallotta, is coming to Ridge! This visit is for Grades K-2. Please see below for book order forms. Please note that the book ordering process is different for this author visit. Checks should be made out to CB Books. Circus Week is Coming! All PE classes will participate in circus-related activities the week of February 24-28, and then the Fourth Grade will put on a circus performance on the 28th for parents at 6:30!
Health Office:
We are seeing a definite upswing in the flu, strep throat and a high-fever virus….please keep your child home and see a doctor if they complain of not feeling well. For more information, please read this: Cold or Flu.pdf
Also, if your child is going to be ABSENT, please email Colleen Manke or call the Health Office absence line with a reason – that helps us keep track of illnesses. 201-670-2740x1
5th Grade Parents: Your child will need updated immunizations going into 6th grade. Attached is a list of requirements for you to share with your doctor. You may drop off updated immunization lists in the health office prior to June 1st.6th Grade Immunization 20-21.pdf
LEAVING? If you know that your child(ren) will not be attending Ridge next year (either moving, going private, etc.) please let the office know as soon as possible. Thanks!
HSA Notices
A HUGE THANK YOU to all those who made the Ridge Winter Wonderland Gala and Auction a smashing success by purchasing a ticket to the event, participating in our auction, donating auction items and funds, and sponsoring the event. A special thank you to Dr. Jean Schoenlank and the Ridge teachers and staff for donating their time and talents; Dana Glazer for creating our short film; the Ridge class parents for assembling the class auction baskets and the families who contributed to them; and the Gala and Auction Committee for planning, organizing and developing our Gala and Auction: Ann Alvarado, Mark Bruno, Kristen Daffron, Kerry DeVincenzo, Barbara Dowling, Danielle Flynn, Kristin Glassman, Maria Hutchinson, Ashley Minetti, Lana Monte, Mindy Muselli, Meaghan Nadeau, Pamela Nadler, Tasneem Patrawala, Miriam Steketee and Maggie Wall.
Through the generosity of our Ridge Community we were able to raise significant funds to support our children with new books for each of our classroom libraries and new recess equipment. More information will be provided soon on the proceeds as we work diligently to settle our accounts.

Movie night:
Please consider donating baked goods, popcorn, or candy for movie night on 2/21!
No nuts, individually wrapped goodies and popcorn - 2 dozen per volunteer. Individually wrapped candy is also welcome! Deliver your goodies to the HSA room (directly across from the main office) by 3:15pm on Friday, February 21st.

The Science Fair will be on March 5 & 6. On Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 pm we will hold our first-ever Ridge Evening Science Fair. Families are invited to attend this event to view projects and enjoy additional science activities. The Science Fair will remain open during the school day on Friday, March 6 for students to visit with their classes. More information will be sent home in backpacks and through Enews. In the meantime, students can start thinking about possible project ideas!
