As this is our last Enews of the year, we want to wish everyone a safe and healthy summer!


LEAVING RIDGE? If you know that your child(ren) will not be attending Ridge next year (either moving, going private, etc.) please let the office know as soon as possible.  Thanks!

All those in Grades 2-5 leaving the district will need to return their Chromebook.  Please click on the attached link  to schedule a return at the Ed Center.  Thanks!  

PARENTS ARE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ON THE CHROMEBOOK RETURN CALENDAR TO DROP-OFF THEIR DEVICES AT THE ED CENTER.

HSA Announcements


Ridge Clothing Drive!!!  Friday, June 26th from 10am – 2pm at the school!!

Collect all of your

  • Clothing and Shoes– all types and styles of used and wearable clothing (men, women and kids)

  • Household Items – blankets, sheets, pillows, bedspreads, towels, bathmats, tablecloths, curtains, etc.

  • Accessories – purses, backpacks, briefcases, belts, hats, gloves, socks, scarves, ties, baby accessories

  • No plastic toys but we will accept stuffed animals!


Ridge is going to have a Fundraiser where we make money per pound of clothing we donate.  Please let you friends, neighbors, social media, etc. know!  We all have collected a lot of donation items during the pandemic and there isn’t anywhere to drop items off.  Here is your solution!!  The organization will bring a truck to the school and will have workers who will take your items from your trunk - contactless delivery for you!!  Please do wear a mask at the drop off.

The HSA needs your help!

Volunteer Positions for the 2020-2021 school year are available!  You will have the support of the HSA Board, former Committee Chairpersons and all the parents who want to get involved but aren't sure how to do it!  Sharing your time, energy and/or expertise by being a part of the HSA Committees is priceless to our Ridge Community plus the kids LOVE to see their parents involved! Sample positions available:

  • Ridgewear

  • Directory Ad Sales

  • Membership

  • Bingo Night

  • School Photos

  • School Supplies, etc…

Ridge’s ONLINE Scholastic Summer Book Fair

Stock up on summer reading and support RIDGE now through September 4th. Scholastic has books for every age, reading/grade level, and price range. 25 percent of the profits will be given back to RIDGE in Scholastic Dollar Rewards to purchase books and materials for the school. Ridge Mom’s Softball Season

Looking for some active summer fun with a great group of moms?
Planning for Ridge Mom’s Softball Season is in the works. Once approved, the season would run July and August. League practices could start late June with games to follow- rotating once a week through the summer on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings at local fields vs. the five other elementary school mom’s teams.
Don’t worry... all experience levels welcome, no tryouts, and flexible schedule. It’s fun, social, and great exercise!
