A MESSAGE FROM MRS. STEWART
This year the Art Show is May 5th, save the date!
I am now taking chair donations big and small for the fifth grade annual chair project. I am also trying something a little new this year and opening up to non-chair donation items, such as small side tables or nightstands. If you have any items sitting around your home, you would like to donate please reach out to me to see if it would work. Thank you.
Keep a look out for the volunteer sign-up just for the art show, coming soon.
Start your St. Patrick's Day celebration with a green bagel! Ridge Student Leadership is sponsoring a Bagel Breakfast on Friday, March 17th at 8:10 am. A donation will be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge to support our local animal shelter. Please complete the form and return it to the office by Monday, March 13th. And of course, WEAR GREEN!

RIDGE ART PROJECT HSA FUNDRAISER
Ridge mom and artist, Jeannie Koehler, worked with the teachers and students to have each child at Ridge create a special drawing with different guidelines per grade. She then framed the beautiful artwork mosaics which will be displayed at Ridge thanks to a generous and anonymous donor at the Gala. Each child's artwork is also able to be placed on mugs and water bottles by Ashley Minetti as a fundraiser for the Ridge Performing Arts Fund. Here are the art assignments per grade:
Kindergarteners- the kindergarten playground
First Graders - their eyes, nose and teeth
Second Graders - real or imaginary pet
Third Graders - a ‘cool, wild, fun hairstyle
Fourth Graders - self portraits
Fifth Graders - the castle playground
